 Draft Programme

The Border Midland and Western Regional Assembly as national contact point in Ireland in conjunction with its partners, the Porte Norte region of Portugal and the Department of Finance, Ireland, have prepared a draft Atlantic Area Territorial Cooperation Programme 2007-13. Click here for the draft programme. A hard copy of the draft programme may also be viewed at the Assembly Offices at the address below.


Written submissions or observations on the Draft Programme are welcome and can either be sent by e-mail to consultations@bmwassembly.ie or by post to the address below. Deadline for receipt of comments is 4.00 pm on Wednesday, February 28th 2007.  


Strategic Environmental Assessment

The Programme Partners have prepared an SEA Report on the Atlantic Area Territorial Cooperation Programme 2007-13 as required under the Strategic Environmental Assessment Directive 2001/42/EC.  The SEA Report identifies, describes and evaluates the likely effects on the environment of implementing the operational programme as prescribed in Article 5 and detailed in Annex 1 of the SEA Directive.


The SEA Report is available for inspection at the offices of the Border, Midland & Western Regional Assembly in Ballaghaderreen during office hours – 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday inclusive or click here to obtain a copy.
