Since the establishment of the Assembly in 1999, a wealth of knowledge in dealing with EU affairs has been accumulated. Requests are regularly received by parliamentarians and officials from new member states and other Objective 1 regions to visit the Assembly in order to learn about the management of OPs on a practical basis. Presentations are given on the role of the Assembly and the regulations governing the administration of Structural Funds. Visiting delegations included groups from Iceland, Serbia, Moldova, Greece, Estonia, Hungary, Romania, Sweden, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Croatia.
