Freedom of Information - Routinely Available Information

In most cases, it may not be necessary to make a formal request under the Freedom of Information Acts, 1997-2003. Before making a formal request, please enquire if the information you wish to obtain is available through normal administrative channels. Should any problem be encountered in identifying the information which you wish to access, the staff of the Border, Midland and Western Regional Assembly will be happy to assist.

At present, the Border, Midland and Western Regional Assembly make a wide range of information available to the public in relation to its functions and activities. Such information will continue to be made available, from the BMW headquarters office in Ballaghaderreen and on the BMW website at: www.bmwassembly.ie. without the need to use the Freedom of Information Acts.
